has anyone successfully gotten true internet to work with any kind of linux distribution? i was going to give it a try today and then noticed their "LanRoad" client is windows-only ...

The main problem with the home package is that it comes with a USB ADSL modem, and USB modem with linux is sketchy at best. There are some drivers available for some modems, and if you're PPP-savvy, you can get it to work with linux PPPoE implementations. I've seen it done before, but it wasn't exactly easy.

Or you could just buy an ADSL modem-router, and not have to do anything on the linux side.
