I am sure it someplace on the board but I can't find it.

I am thinking of getting a Thai Drivers License.

After reading the requirements I saw this line.

"Present residence address certified by embassy or Immigration Bureau."

Is this as simple as it sounds?

Just take a copy of my lease to someone and pay some money to get a stamp?

what would be simpler the embassy or Immigration Bureau?

The embassy is simpler but they charge 1400 baht

Immigration only charge a couple of hundred baht but not all offices will give you one. Nan and Mai Sai have refused me .

If you are registered with the local immigration office , as you should be, they will do it for you and may not even charge. you need a couple of 2" photos and copies of you passport.
