Confirmation of Free Bus to Chaeng Wattana - #166

In my last post regarding processing my first extension of stay on 16 October at Cheang Wattana, I neglected to mention that I caught the free bus back to Victory Monument from Chaeng Wattana. The bus number is 166 - a red bus with a yellow sign in the front that says "Suun Ratchakan" in Thai. You can get off the bus at the main entrance to the government complex from Chaeng Wattana Road and take a motorcycle to immigration for 20 baht - or vice-versa. You can board the bus to Chaeng Wattana at the Northwest quadrant of Victory Monument. The bus takes the expressway so it is almost convenient as taking a taxi - and certainly a lot cheaper!
