Familyonthemove
Had to try one after reading this thread. Surprisingly nice. First bite you think it's just chocolate .... second bite things start to warm up a little .... by the time you are half way through it's getting quite spicy .... at the end you are left with that warm 'som tum' feeling in your mouth. Picks you up like a good spicy soup - rather than leaving you with the usual post-donut "just eaten a lead weight" feeling.

Jingthing
Mexicans go nuts with the chili. Popcorn with chili and lime at the movies, chili in beer with citrus.....seriously spicy beer! A spicy donut sounds gross, though. I'm mostly with you, but ANY donut sounds gross. So many donuts and few BAGELS!
wayned
Are you suggesting a chilli chocolate covered bagel? I still think it would be gross! Prefer mine with cream cheese, lox onions and a few capers but no chilli.
sabaijai
I love chile mixed with chocolate. Pretty common these days even in the West. Don't think it's a Thai thing. http://www.seriouseats.com/2010/10/spice-hunting-pairing-chiles-chilis-and-chocolate-desserts-baking.html
BEVUP
'Mister Donut' gets my vote (without the chilli) Both Mr Donut and Dunkins Donuts have went a bit crazy with their prices, better to buy from Tesco, their donuts are cheap and very good. Exactly what i said to the wife last time we went shopping 25 + bht for a donut ha
razorramone
I tried one by accident, thought it was a normal donut. I'm not against chilli in chocolate, but the donut tasted nasty. Dunkin Donut often has some weird combinations going on. It's too bad they don't have proper DD coffee shops here, the iced coffee from American ones is so much nicer. Krispy Kreme is nice but it has so much sugar I feel like shit the rest of the day.
