khwaibah Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 Landslides and Floods on Chiang Mai - Doi Saket Road Oct 24, 2013 Environment CityNews – On 24th October around 10.30 a.m. landslides occurred on the Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai Road at sections in Baan Pang Nam Tu, Doi Saket, and Chiang Mai. Supaphorn Nuanchan (19) was swept away by water when she was riding her motorcycle down the road. She is currently recovering from her injuries in hospital. Doi Saket district extends all the way to the provincial border with Chiang Rai. The Lao river flows there along the road I think.
