That's Kalae. Mostly furniture or larger household items. Not many things you'd want to lug around with you if you're travelling, but they do have some nice things and it's always worth a visit. They'll let you wander about on both floors on your own without some sales person clinging to you. You can check out some examples of what's available here: http://www.kalaepattaya.com/index.htm

But be aware they sell both "antiques" and "reproductions." They are labeled as such, but do ask if you're uncertain. Prices are somewhat negotiable and they will deliver larger items if you stay in Pattaya.

If you're traveling around Thailand, you'll find a greater of variety of things in Bangkok. A reliable dealer at River City can be found here http://www.antiquetica.com/ , prices there are negotiable. One of the family of owners of several shops is on the Board of the South East Asian Ceramics Museum at Bangkok University and quite knowledgeable.

... and there is also a monthly auction at River City : http://www.riversideauctionhouse.co.th/

If you're into ceramics. this also is worth exploring. The owner is also quite knowledgeable, pleasant to deal with and his prices are negotiable. http://www.trocadero.com/copperred/

If you're looking for cheaper prices or souvenirs that may or may not be authenticated antiques, Chiang Mai is probably a better bet.

Either Bangkok or CM are far better hunting grounds than Pattaya, although if you do some exploring you may get lucky.
