Depends what thing is bashing.

กระแทก should be close enough

If you mean people bashing, then for verbal bashing, you could use โจมตี while for physical bashing you can use กระทืบ.

I have heard โจมตี used a lot on news programmes in the sense of attack, assault e.g rebels attacking a police station etc.

Second that ฟาด is fairly commonly used as well.

ฟาด is when you use something to hit something else. Usually there's some kind of swinging motion involved such as using a bat, stick, racket, whip, chain, etc..

ทุบ is usually used when you are hitting something in order to destroy it or break it into pieces. Can be with your own hands or with tools.
