Featured Replies

Hi you all. We are very much newbees on travel in/around Bangkok. Can any one advise a good way from Asoke to

SIAM PARK CITY?

The guides say about 45 min in a taxi Taxi, but is there a way we could use skytrain or the Airport link part of the way, then taxi? I hate traffic jams cheesy.gif.pagespeed.ce.HaOxm9--Zv.gif

Many thanks for any help

You might get a better response in the Bangkok sub forum. So...let's move this topic over there and see how it does.

"Suan Siam," the old name.

Here's a map, via Google Maps:

Cheers They say the Taxi is about 250Bt, (24KM google says from Sukummvit so it could be better with 5 of us than any sky train short cuts

Cheers

number 60 bus I think goes from VM via Ramhamkeang

I think this page may helps (http://www.bts.co.th/customer/en/06-travel-family-06.aspx), it seems like there is no way that you can skip taking land transport, taxi seems to be a better option to avoid getting in and out from BTS and bus...

Hope it helps,

Simon Lee

Get the boat from Asoke to Wat Sri Bunreuang, takes about 30 minutes costs about 18 baht per person.

This is the last stop for the boat, 2 stops after The Mall Bang Kapi.

Get off the boat, go up the stairs and cross the canal, on getting to the road (Seri Thai) turn right and cross the bridge thats righ infront of you, you will see the bus stop as you cross the bridge (its beside the Family Mart).

You now can either get a bus, number 151, or 27 (both blue or yellow) they go up Seri Thai on their way to Min Buri.

The 151 white and blue or 27 blue will cost about 8 baht per person, the number 27 yellow is a/c and cost about 12 baht per person

Or you can get a taxi straight up Seri Thai to soi 75ish, its marked in both Thai and English.

If you are talking about 5 adults the taxi may refuse to take you, 2 adults and 3 children shouldnt be a problem.

Taxi from the bus stop should take about 20 minutes depending on traffic and wont be more than 100 baht.
