I'm just wondering if Chaeng Wattana is still approving visa extensions 45 days in advance as was mention on TV a few months ago. My visa expires on May 13, 2014 but I must leave the country around the first of April so I'll be asking for approval around 43 days in advance of the visa expiration date. The officers who had granted early extension previously told me that 2013 was the last year they would do it. I hope that the new more generous policy is still in effect. Does anyone know or has anyone had a recent experience with early approval of an extension? Thanks.
