There is a dive shop after bangkok hospital, same side of the road, going from chaweng to lamai

But I don't know it too much.

"Supermarket Specials" are perfectly adequate for the beaches in the OP's other thread; given the lack of visibility at any of them.

The point of the OP is that the 'el cheapo' ones from Tesco and such like leak but I would also agree with you that even if they didn't you wouldn't be able to see anything anyway.

I got my Children their sets from the Sports shop in BigC, made by Mares, about 800baht each. Excellent quality and usability, don't even bother with anything supermarkets stock.

Samui furnish / Kayak shop sells the good ones for 600Baht if I remember rightly. It's just past the big temple on the way out of Nathon on the right hand side.

did u mean cheap price? its important to buy the right kit for the job, after all there are safety issues here especially as a 7 year is concerned.buy him something decent and keep him or her safe.

...I should add that my kids have lost 2 or 3 sets each by dropping them in the water or allowing them to be carried away by the waves unnoticed when left too close to the shoreline. When they have mastered the basics (inc stowage of equipment) I may consider purchasing something a little more expensive.
