Nok adds tour firm

BANGKOK, 11 November 2013: Nok Airlines Plc, a low-cost airline operator, will expand into the travel agency business to provide land transport, accommodation, food and travel guide services for tourists.

The airline’s board approved the setting up of a travel agency company called Nok Holiday Co Ltd, late last week. The public listed firm had to announce the decision to the Thailand Stock Exchange.

It will sell its own in-house products in a similar fashion to Bangkok Airways that was the first privately owned- airline to set up an in-house travel agency in Thailand.
