Will credit card debt prevent entry to Thailand?

Here in the UK it is the fat cats in the banks that are robbing us blind.

seems in Thailand it is the customers robbing the banks...

The Thai banks are also robbing customers, just one example, 150 Baht charged to use an ATM to draw money from your account in your home country.

But that is legal.

Running up debt on a credit card and doing a runner is a civil offence, and may even be a criminal offence, i.e., stealing, in some countries where the line between criminal and civil law is hazy.

Can you indicate a country to me where this would be a criminal offence then ?

If a bank has extended a unsecured credit line to somebody, and the person breaches that contract, it cannot be considered theft or fraud as some people like to infer, it can only be a civil case, there may be countries left in the world where one can go to jail for debt, but this is for the debt itself not the fact some has done a runner and not paid their CC, its not the same thing
