Politicians in " Military" Uniforms ?

I gotta laugh at those politicians (many countries) who parade around in what looks like Military Attire with all these "service" medals hanging off them !

... Some if not most have NEVER done military service.... As for the "Service" that they are giving to their people.. hmmm... ..Rewarded ????? ..... Yes I know many have served the minimum compulsory service time ... and for those long term public servants ok... give them a badge or a sticker whatever .. ... but come on!!! .... Some are parading around like they are General Macarthur or Napolean Blownapart ... ... .. It's not so much the uniform, I think uniforms can look great !! ... .. but is all that bling bling necessary ??? ... Must be part of the power trip..... .

PS Nothing like a women in uniform though !!!!!!

When my mum was here. she asked if we could go to the circus.

"What circus ?" I asked.

She pointed to a huge poster of a group of party worthies in their whites with medals and sashes.
