Jirapat Pochanapan ordered a clearing out of drug dealers in Patong on Friday night as police found ya ba tablets, ya ba ice (crystal methamphetamine), and kratom water. Phuket: Cops recover kratom, ya ba meth over the weekend.Police first received an anonymous tip about a party that would include kratom at about 3pm Friday, reports said. When they arrived at 106/10 moo 6 in Thalang, police raided the party and discovered a two litre bottle of kratom water on the stove.A further search of the premises turned up a plastic tube containing 4 tablets of Ya Ba (crystal methamphetamine) on 29-year-old Mr. Uppote Aoluknoi of Krabi.Mr. Uppote, along with Mr. Preecha Nuannun, 38, of Bangkok; Mr. Adisorn Aoluknoi, 28, of Krabi; Mr. Somjit Sawaree, 19, of Krabi; Mr. Sarawut Prasai, 19, of Sukhothai; and Mr. Songyod Sawaree, 25, of Krabi were all charged wtih possession of Narcotic type 5 (Kratom).An extra charge of possession of narcotic type 1 (Ya ba) was made against Mr. Uppode.Later on Friday night, undercover cops, working in tandem with Police Major Sinchai Sukki, were able to catch Mr. somchai Gnamchaleaw, 28, of Bung Karn Province with 7 bags of Ice (meth), totallin 3.6 grams, in front of a hair salon on Sainamyen Road in Patong.Mr. Somchain was charged with possession of Type 1 Narcotic for selling purpose.Source: http://www.thephuketnews.com/cops-recover-kratom-ya-ba-meth-over-the-weekend-42882.php?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter -- Phuket News 2013-11-17 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ironhorse10 Posted November 18, 2013 Share Posted November 18, 2013 Why not legalize Kratom, Thailand is one of the few countrys where it's illegal. And it grows here as well as almost all of SE.
