I was thinking of taking the GF and brother, sister to go fishing,,,,

OK.....I have not asked them yet so not sure if it would be a go or no go ,

But it would need to be close to BKK , less than an hour taxi , covered area so they do not get sunburned ,

rental poles etc

and a "for sure" place that they will catch a few fish each having no idea what they are doing !

So something like a fish farm with lots of hungry fish ,

and Thai prices not a tourist place

Any ideas ? am I asking for too much ?

Look for posts on BSR or Bungsamran in the fishing forum.

Get there, rent a couple of rods and a bungalow, get a guide and a good time will be had by all. They'll bring you food and drink, and take care of all your fishing needs. It won't be cheap (not outrageous, either), but it will be a lifetime fishing memory.
