Hey, am 23 singaporean, and am intending to teach in thailand after my degree and after i do my celta in chiang mai.

Any Singaporean teaching in Thailand?

Oh is it? I am 75% of my degree and I cant wait to teach in thailand

I've never been to CM personally but heard great news about the place! The 'CELTA' is fairly intense and is no walk in the park, so be prepared !! I'm from Oz but live/teach in Isaan, which is North Eastern part of Thailand. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I like it here.

Ya I know the intensity of the course and while I am still doing my degree at the moment, I spent time reading the recommended text before I enrol for the course. I am trying to be mentally prepared for the course. I dont want to be caught off guard and loses momentum during the course.

Now you have a basic idea of the fundamentals required to teach in Thailand. I'm sure you will be a fantastic teaching once u step foot in the classroom. Every stepping stone is a new learning curve :)
