Trying to locate COOKED turkeys, hams, and some pies for Thanksgiving.

Featured Replies

Anyone know where I might be able to find some already cooked (smoked, baked or fried) turkeys, hams and pies?

Thanks,

I don't think you can buy pre-cooked Turkeys here. Have to buy one and cook it your self mate.

Casa Pascal deliver cooked turkeys at Christmas. Might be worth a call to see if they do the same for Thanksgiving.

Another thought - WWM sell whole cooked hams and other cooked meats (being British they probably just do turkey at Christmas) http://www.wwmco.asia/index.php/shop-1/meat/cooked-meats.html

Sunrise Tacos have a Turkey dinner set with all the trimmings, check out their website! I think they are sponsors here as well.

This place does a good job. http://mjsmokehouse.com/

I would think some of the Brit/Irish pub type places could fix you up...the ones that do weekly carverys or the larger hotel catering Dept's.

Try acorn foods

Give Yorkies at Jomtien a visit!

Checkout KPKfoods.com sell superb pies bacon etc etc and offer a cooking service, far better than yorkies in my opinion.

You might try Foodland. They do have some options at Christmas, not sure about Thanksgiving but worth asking if you are nearby. Prepared in Bangkok so you need to obviously order ahead.

Yep...they are advertising thanksgiving baked hams, cooked turkeys, and some side dishes. One has to order at least 3 days in advance.

For the best ham I have bought here (smoked and normal) go to the Robin Hood in Jomtien and ask the landlord to put you in touch with Dave the Ham (seriously). His bacon is to die for as well.

I know a guy a few years back who ordered a roast turkey from TOPS. It looked great on the outside, but when he sat down on Christmas Day and carved it the bird was totally undercooked on the inside.

Best bet for cooked turkeys is in Bangkok right now....

I noticed Shenanigans in Jomtien are doing a roast turkey dinner for B290 on Thursday, not what you asked for, but I thought it might help someone.

I looked for cooked turkey last Christmas in the stores and found none, Central Beach always has ham off the bone available, as does BigC extra I think

I have heard that a couple of days ago. Seems the Thai's don't cook the birds like we do.

But, it could have been like this:

We have decided to go to Rich Man Poor Man on Soi 9 this year.
Will hold off on the turkeys and hams until Christmas, which me and a neighbooring bar have a party set for.

Thanks very much for all of the info, guys!
