May 6, 200620 yr Nok Air seeks emergency landing at Phuket Airport PHUKET: -- A passenger plane of Nok Air, Thailand's low-cost airline, sought an emergency landing at the Phuket International Airport on Saturday due to an engine problem. The incident took place when the aircraft, carrying 90 passengers, was flying from Bangkok to the southern province of Trang. All the passengers were, however, evacuated safely from the plane. Most of them continued their journey via two air conditioned buses provided by the airline, while the rest opted to have their air tickets fully refunded. --TNA 2006-05-06
