Bus ticket to Koh Samui

Featured Replies

can any one help me..I want to buy a bus ticket to Samui...can I buy in Bkk to save me going to Mo Chit or sati mai ...shall be staying in Suk area prior to going to Samui...thx for any help

The tickets you buy at the travel agents are on tourist buses, and these are notorious for thefts from the luggage.

Going to the bus station, or asking somebody else to go to the bustation, and buy a ticket from one of the government regulated options would be the better option.

Thx for the advice

SOME tickets-on the BoKoSo (the real ''govmt'' bus) that starts from Sai Thai CAN be bought from their desk @ Ekamai=Sukh.63, BTS same name. Perhaps only till day before-not sure.

YOU are either uninformed or too lazy: the actual nr of buses going ON the ferry to Sam is very limited. Most buses end at Surat and connect with some of the ferries. Most of the Surat buses are run by concessionaires, most from Sai Thai, some even start from a point ''downtown'' and an odd one from Mochit. THESE buses are not on the BoKoSo reserv.schemes.

Keep in mind you can also take a shorter bus ride down to Chumpon the island hop on the Jetcat via Ko Tao.
