SICHONSTEVE
Cut the net and young Thais will go berserk. Just try to take their mobile and see what happens after 15secs away from facebook. Thailand isn't China!!
waza
anyone seriously think this was not going to happen? Apart from the stupid BMA threat, does anyone seriously think the government has done anything wrong here? If you want an answer to that you best give us a time frame. they change their mind constantly. For instance this thread says they said this morning no more talking. This Afternoon Yingluck was telling every one she would talk to any one. Yep she is doing more backflips than a flip flop in the surf, anyone could be mistaken for thinking she is in training for the Thai gymnastics team.
haroldcane
Yep she is doing more backflips than a flip flop in the surf, anyone could be mistaken for thinking she is in training for the Thai gymnastics team. she is training for the dubai red devils. a womens football club her brother has bought for her just like the pheu thai party (PTP) before the trick is called: 'falling overhead kick' - shooting own goals by falling on her head... JRSoul
"time for talk" finished is a dangerous statement for PTP to make. Those intent on stringing you up from a lamp-post may not listen as you beg for mercy.
Baerboxer
He's just announcing that he's going to enforce the law which seems a perfectly reasonable thing for a democratically elected government to do. Unfortunately he's the same man who committed the illegal act of issuing a new passport to his criminal fugitive cousin. Perfectly reasonable for him to resign as a man of honor...................... but of course he only wants to use the law to frighten and suppress opponents, not actually obey it.
Baerboxer
This all seems myopic and disjointed. Yingluck, or whoever is advising her, was playing a good game. No conflict, no violence, keep moving just a little, make the protesters look unreasonable. Sure, she keeps changing her mind and contradicts herself but she's been doing that since assuming office. Who is this guy taking orders from? Who decided to replace the previous guy with this man? Telling the protesters they have the right to peaceful protest, but informing them laws would now be enforced regarding tresspass, damage etc would be fine. Threatening to sue media and municipal authorities smacks of spiteful revenge and suprression - the same mentality that says if you don't vote for us we won't spend any money on you if we win. I wonder where this attitude comes from?
Somrak
He's just announcing that he's going to enforce the law which seems a perfectly reasonable thing for a democratically elected government to do. Sorry, it looks like you do not know, or you you do not like to know, something about Thailand. Thailand is everything, but a reasonable democracy, and asking for law enforcement now, will only make the things worse. There are now peoples, who did ask for burning down Bangkok and kill , sitting in the government. .... and there was a lot of killing and burning! If they let somebody right now ask for arrests, shows this only, that they have no intentions for peace.
Crushdepth
By his own logic, the operators of Rajamangala Stadium should be arrested for providing the facility and its services to protestors. Nope. That's not his logic. The logic is they're being lead by someone with an arrest warrant for treason, so anyone that supports him or provides his group with services could also be subject to lelgal action. You have to admit that threatening the BMA for toilets is just ludicrous though ..... don't you? Toilet mutineers are the worst kind of traitor! I kind of hope this does go to court simply out of a perverse desire to see how much acidic scorn a judge can pour on such a pathetically stupid charge.
