Can someone PLEASE tell me why? i have to show Baht 65,000 in a THAI bank account for my retirement extension.

And i have TWO friends that DO NOT have a thai bank account.

They only show the letter from their Embassy, as i do ALSO + the Baht 65,000.

You don't normally have to. Has a immigration office told that you do? If yes which one?

So maybe the immigration officer said just add the 65.000 THB which is in a Bank account so that you can qualify for the extension ?

Sounds like confusion between the two options of showing evidence of pension income of B65k a month or having B800k in a bank account for 3 months.

Yes, that is very confusing as those are not the requirements of the Thai immigration law!

Perhaps immigration has asked for additional proof to support his income letter. They can do that.
