Probation period and work permit

Featured Replies

Hi to evryone

I need your help

I got job with thai company, I didn't like it

but I had to sign temporary contract, where it said I had to quit

30 days after written notice. ( they wouldn't pay my salary for the month I worked)

Since then I didn't go to work

Question,

can I just go work for someone else, without written notice

and without working for them that 30 days ?

Can I work for them if I do not have work permit ? I mean probation period.

1. If you did not give the required notice, you were in breach of contract.

So I am not surprised they did not pay you.

2. Unless you are Thai, you need a work permit to work legally

and that work permit will be tied to the job.

If you are caught working without a Permit, you risk time in the Immigration Police cells

and deportation

How naïve are you...you pull the pin with one mob and don't rock up again and then want to work for another company with your own rules.

Read the contract before you sign it next time.

You can not just work for anybody without a work permit. Better think twice before you run away, you'd just created your own problems by doing so.

No employer would pay you, when you just take off.-wai2.gif
