Park my car in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hoping this is the right place,my question is very simple:i need to park my car for few days(3 to 5)in Bangkok.I thought to park it in one of the hundred big c or lotus that are in the city.Any advice?Thank's again for your reply.

Yes, no problemo.

Just remember as you enter Big C, T/L or wherever you will be given a ticket, when you exit a few days later, when you hand the ticket over to the cashier, you will be presented with a bill, 1,000 baht per day is not uncommon.

Let's try this over in the Bangkok forum. Might get some more replies from the locals there!

Also, are you flying to CM? Bus? Train? Where are you leaving from?

Topic Moved.

The big new station on the airport express. Cannot remember the name. Between Pratunam and Rama 9. My thai friends used to park there for free. Hope someone else can give you more details.

I can do you a good deal in my drive ... only a few Kms from Don Muang/Mueang. .. As long as it doesn't drip oil thumbsup.gif

just park it at any police station. Couldnt get any safer :)

any 5 star hotel usually doesnt charge either if youre cheeky enough to go in ,park

take the lift upstairs and have a beer if you like

then walk straight out the front door and take a taxi to the airport :D

Probably without exception 5 star hotels will issue a ticket when the car is parked and the charge for parking will be made before the vehicle is allowed to exit the car park. If you use the hotel facilities before you leave the ticket will be stamped for free parking for a limited period unless you are registered as a guest.

Unless you know different and can indicate which hotels have no objection to being used as free car parks.

i do know one in central bkk that doesnt issue tickets or stamps but i probably should name it online

btw i didnt say they had no objection to it being used as a free car park (just that its possible to park there and go upstairs and leave

via the main exit and colect the car after a few days in singapore without any charges )

^^^^,

Best of luck to you if you can get away with it.

I have lost count of the number of times I have been asked, is this car yours, answer yes, answer ok.

Thats after having been in the hotel for 2 or 3 days.

Anway back to the OP, Seacon Square can park for free.

Best get the bus from Pattaya to the airport, then a taxi to DM if required.

Or get a taxi to and from Pattaya.

I've been to a few Big C's in Bkk and never got a ticket when entering Car Park , nor at the Hotels where stayed but they were not 5 star though (cheap charlie) :P
