BANGKOK, Dec 10 – The Pheu Thai Party is collecting evidence to take legal action against anyone supporting the anti-government movement led by protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban, a party spokesman said today.

Prompong Nopparat said a political party providing assistance to the movement will, if found guilty, be subject to dissolution. He called on Thai people and political parties to stop aiding Mr Suthep.

He stood firm that Yingluck Shinawatra must take the caretaker premiership as stipulated in a royal decree on House dissolution, or she would be guilty of violating the Constitution and the Criminal Code.

The protesters are digging a trap for Ms Yingluck who will be charged with neglecting to perform her duty if she resigns from the caretaker position, said Mr Prompong.

He said a group of 40 senators has nitiated a movement along the lines of Mr Suthep’s proposal on the caretaker premier relinquishing her post.

“If the senators want to join the move, they should resign from the Upper House to do it,” he said.

The former Pheu Thai MP charged Mr Suthep, former Democrat MP from Surat Thani, with breaching the law and the Constitution, and challenging the power of the Constitution and the rule of law.

His proposal is not based on the law and he is irresponsible, said Mr Prompong.

The Pheu Thai official said politicians under the democratic system must apply to run in an election after the House dissolution and “a veteran politician like Mr Suthep is fully aware of it.”

His action is tantamount to insurrection which is clearly against Section 68 of the Constitution for trying to topple a democratic system based on the constitutional monarchy, he said. (MCOT online news)

Did the drunken loser pledge to behead himself he they don't?

How did he manage to standup? Oor did they photoshop those symbols, so we wouldn't know it was an AA meeting. What is he running his mouth for anyway, reduced to head loser of Ministry of Labor?

Did Suthep break his job description or work permit maybe?

Suppose the question is could Suthep have achieved the down fall of this corrupt government in any other way? and was it justified?

Pity PTP did not do try to bring to justice a already convicted criminal living in exile instead of taking orders from him.

Of greater concern to all should be that he appears to have partly turned into a Transformer.

If he transforms into a lecturn and a drunken poltiician, at least they can just stand him in the corner and he won't cause any trouble as long as they give him the occasional dusting.

PTP cannot afford to step down otherwise everything they've been up too the last 2 years will be exposed to the public

I believe the final outcome will be the military stepping in and forcing their complete removal

Ah the delights of democracy as espoused by the liberators of the poor in Thailand the P.T.P. and their coalition partners.

No such thing as ''a free lunch, nor now it would seem under these trainee despots ''the right of free speech either.''

Going to be one hell of a court case bringing all those protesters to account is it not?

You maybe could give some explanation about what was not exposed the last two years , all are posting on corruption and corrupt Shinawatra's, but it would be nice to see some evidence, that they are/where more corrupt than the the yellows.

So no bullshit about update your info etc... but come on and show some real evidence.
