Koh Larn:--An oil slick was spotted floating in the clear waters off Ta Waen – Koh Larn island which prevented the tourists from swimming. The officers of the Harbour Department and Pattaya inspected the area to locate the leaking boat.

PATTAYA – December 7, 2013 [PDN]; the officers of Harbour Department and Pattaya city went to inspect Ta Waen beach – Koh Larn island, Chonburi province after they were informed that there was a lot of black oil floating dispersedly all over the sea. When the officers arrived at the scene they found a large amount of thick black crude oil floating in the sea and also some of the oil had been washed up on the beach.
