I understand that to be elligible for the 35 baht plan one must present a yellow book or tabien baan. How does one acquire one and what docments and conditions are necessary?

The yellow book is not esential but may make the process quicker and simpler.

Getting the yellow book has been covered many times on this forum. I strongly suggest a search and then asking further questions when you have more specific needs. It would be too hard to cover the whole subject in a post.

You must live in the catchment area of the hospital, and to prove that you must show your place of residence. You must also only go to that hospital for treatment, if you need services available in a different hospital, that care must first be approved by your Hospital.

Go to the medical forum and Shirley, a mod is the person to talk to! I am not so sure of her name,but it is Shirley or a name that sounds like that.
