I'll be driving from Trang to Phuket with my wife and daughter.....have 24hours for a relatively short ride?

Best place to stay overnight, preferably close to but not in Phuket....view, exc. restaurant more important than price.

Must see place/view along the way.

Great cave just 40k north of Trang, called Khao Kob... Emerald pool is good too, just south of Krabi.. Krabi town is nice to stay in, I have stayed at Orange Tree house several times. If you are feeling fit then hike up to the Tiger Temple, again just outside Krabi.

That should give you something to work from :)
