TSL Corporation has become the first grey-market importer to offer the all-new Toyota Harrier, priced at Bt2.89 million.

The Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre engine that develops 151hp and 193Nm mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). It comes with front-wheel drive as standard, but the all-wheel-drive option is also available.

Its average fuel economy is claimed to be 16kmpl, which is better than some compact cars. The other standard features include auto-levelling LED headlights and fog lights, powered tailgate opening, Land Departure Alert, cruise control, moon roof, automatic climate control with air cleaner, and "Keyless Go".

Too small (engine wise) for to much money. coffee1.gif

A 2 litre can put out a lot more than 151hp as formula 1 have shown(Doctor Iain Corness's 2.litre Escort with a Nissan SR-20 puts out around 290bhp at the rear wheels), but it is small though for such a beast, a 3 litre v6 would make it much more attractive at the price, the lexus 3uz-fe 4.3 litre v8 would be even better.

I believe we are talking here about normal Thai cars so your comparison is imho irrelevant. xcool.png.pagespeed.ic.WVYpdUy2j0.webp

The Harrier is a Japanese grey import, not a normal Thai Car, so how is your comment relevant whistling.gif

Mercedes A Class A45 AMG, 2.0 litre turbo 360HP and 450NM, 0-100 in 4.4s. I don´t mind 2 liter engines, they can be fun biggrin.png

But this 2.0 is useless (even more in such a car). Though in the traffic jams it won´t matter anyway, so maybe a whise economical decission. But then why don´t they have a diesel?
