90 Day Report date discrepancy or is it me not understanding ?

Featured Replies

Hi wise Ones,

I had a 12 month Multi Non O Visa from Birmingham UK. This expired early October 2013 but my Permited to Remain Stamp was 22 November 2013.

I received with no incident a Retirement extension and a Multi reentry permit on October 22nd duly stamped with validity until 22 November 2014 (I went early because i had a trip planned which was actually cancelled). Tick.

I just noticed the 90 day report ticket in my passport is stamped 24th January 2014 ie 90 days after I went to Immi not 90 days after the old "Permitted to remain till" stamp.

Is this correct or should it be dated 24th February based on the permited to remain. If not correct is it possible / worth it to go to Immi and ask for a modified 90 day ticket do You think ?

Its not a big hassle except I wanted to be in UK last two weeks of Jan 2014 / begin February 2014.

What are my options ? Go early to report ?

Does leaving the country nullify the report date and if so should I report 90 days after returning clutching a new TM6 or immediately I get back?

Blimey. Hope thats clear. I have a headache trying to follow some other similar threads. Where is my Singha glass ? thumbsup.gif

Thanks and regards P.

Your report date is correct.

You only have to report if you are in the country 90 days or more.

If you leave before your report is due that date is canceled.

You then make your report 90 days from the date you enter the country
