A country where the holiday still has some meaning... preferably one where it snows, and they believe in Santa Claus.

Would have to agree with dave2. Went in to buy some electronics Thursday and no surprise they didn't have a single thing I needed. What surprised me was the selection of Christmas stuff -- even though all Chinese, much nicer than Tesco or Big C stuff.

Nice photo by D2 but Makro will have 6 times that amount.

True, was at Makro last night but the g/f pointed out how much nicer and different/original the Christmas tree decorations are at Amorn. Most of the floor space there is now dedicated to snack foods, trinkets, and other junk. Worthless these days for electronics.

Tesco Lotus. We always buy all our Christmas decorations, trees and lights from there.

Be careful of the lights sold in the markets, some of these are of inferior quality made in China and a fire hazard.

The only problems we have is trying to find a big fairy to sit on top of the Christmas tree.

Try the bars on Thapae road Soi 1.

Small Fairy's about 4'' tall in bags in Big C Main on 108 when i was in there last week. Could all be gone now though if there has been a rush on Fairy's !

They are ALL made in China. Never seen Christmas lights made in Thailand.
