Status of the Honda Phantom 300?

Featured Replies

When will the new Phantom hit the dealers?

Chris

When back home in the states saw a 700 maybe that will be released here soon.

First I've ever heard of a Phantom 300, and a google search doesn't bring anything up at all. Can you point us to some resources / where you heard about a new Phantom?

Hearsay, TBH. But the Phantom 200 was wildly popular... And they have a new 250 cc single engine which could be turned into a 300 cc.

It is a nice idea, putting a CBR250/300 engine in a Phantom, but isn't this engine high power low torque? In which case it will be useless in a cruiser, like when they first fitted a BMW engine in the heavy Rangerover.

Maybe I am a little out of date and perhaps nowadays they can remap the engine and convert bhp into torque, if so it would be a nice bike, if made in Thailand and tax exempt.

Still no news of this then I take it.

If I had one I'd do this to it:

1380009_715738198491485_7828856709406542

Listed for sale @ 42k baht.

The first Phantom I've ever seen and thought it actually looks okay.
