December 15, 201312 yr Oh lord it's so freaking crowded and baiyoke is right at the end imagine having to walk thru all that crowd to reach the BTS. I see it's near a sky train station.
December 15, 201312 yr I live close to it but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Pretty crowded at times and the street stalls that line the pavements on both sides for a fair stretch of the road (Ratchaprarop Road) make it even more difficult to walk. Lots of Indian tourists in the area milling around and browsing at the stalls which can make it hard to get past as there's so little room and it's all enclosed so you can't even jump onto the road to get round it. Still it's close to central world and Pratinum Fashion mall and Palladium and that other one. It's right beside the airport link. There's some decent places to eat. Not found any bars in the area though strangely considering the number of people about but maybe I've missed them? Would love to know if anyone knows. The closest skytrain is Chit Lom beside central world. You sure you didn't see the airport link which is right beside the area? There are both better and worse areas to live. Central World beer gardens are a great place to go in the evening at the moment. Superb atmosphere. Beer. Live music.
December 15, 201312 yr Author Oh yes of course i know of the airport link but it's stupid to take that if you're not going to the places along the airport or unless you mean to tell me you should take the station to paya thai and then take the bts to central world.
