hi I want to renew my tourist visa for as long as I can.

my visa expires on the 22nd of dec this month in four days.

I am australian.

Im thinking tonight I print out the documents for the application for a 90 day visa, tomorrow I catch the bus to vientien, loas, go to the embassy and apply for a 90day visa, bus it back the same day??

is that a good idea?

Did you get a 30 day extension of your 60 day entry at immigration.

Would suggest you plan to stay in Vientien until you have your passport ! An overnight stay is required.

ok thanks, how much is should I be paying for a hotel in laos? how much loas $ should I take?
