Anyone taking the senate serious in Thailand? You never hear elected senators, only the appointed ones The ones with fat brown arms, the kind that Suthep wants to in parliament. If you can;t win election simply appoint people just like after the last coup. Funny enough they still called it a parliament.

The behavior of the DSI is becoming exponentially more erratic by the day. In other news published today ( The Nation, Straits Times ) the president of Thai Airways suddenly announced his resignation - citing health reasons. That may very well be so. But it might be of note to mention - if only parenthetically - that Thai Airways was one of the companies that two weeks ago expressed public sympathies for the protest movement.
