air asia more transparent pricing than Nok Air?

Whenever I go from step one to step two booking a Nok Air I find the price has jumped $15-20. This is without any luggage etc . There is no warning (on the mobile site at least) that it doesn't include fee or tax.

I find Air Asia 'all-inclusive price' more honest.

The tipical TV daily expat-ranters wont agree., They always find something more to rant on and foul up cyberspace.

BUT in essence you are right. Simple answer; AA is Malay-at leat the big parent, and thus has to adhere to malay advertising standards-which are more adhered too as in TH and these are more like the Europe/US rules. Even RYAN-always famous for adding more+More and once AA's big example, has now accepted that those Irish cannot flout anymore and post final prices with just max 2% for cred-cards added.

Unfortunately Nok adds 5kg luggage and insurance when you select your flight.

You need to un-tick these options to get back to the normal price, and that includes 15kg luggage and seat selection, still better process than AA
