60 day tourist visa

Featured Replies

Is it possible to buy a 60 day visa on arrival at suvarnabhumi airport?? Cost?? If not how quickly can you extend your 30 day entry visa. Where do you need to go in Bangkok (or chang rai) to extend? Thanks

Tourist Visas are not available in country.

A 30 day visa exempt entry is only extendable for 7 days at a cost of 1900 Bht. at a local immigration office.

Why not just get a tourist visa from your home countries Thai Embassy/Consulate ?

Left it too late because of Xmas. Stupid! May have to do a visa run. Thinking of Mae sai ( Burma). Do you have any experience of this. We really just want to exit and re enter as quickly as possible

Effective 1 November you will get 30 day visa exempt entry when you enter by land if you are from a G7 country. Citizens of most other countries only get 15 days. Exit and return not a problem, cost 500 baht each to enter Myanmar and you must enter and exit before returning to Thailand

If you come without a visa, the airline might not let you board the flight without a ticket exiting Thailand during the first 30 days. You might have to scramble trying to book a cheap onward ticket at the airport, say Hat Yai to KL, so go early.

What date are you leaving and where are you at? You might still have time to get your visas.
