Just wondering, yesterday, as I was going over the Mabprachan dam at about 09:30 yesterday, there were a lot of cars below the dam, with some police, ambulances. Looked like more than just the usual pick-nic. Does anyone know what might have happened there? In the old days, it was a place to dump unwanted bodies.

Friend of mine reported last evening that he saw a car crashed into the gates there surrounded by cops, guns out. Looked like the end of a chase he reckoned.

I was cycling there yesterday and seen the pickup truck had crashed through the gates and then into a police vehicle.

I must have just missed the action but there were 2 young guys being detained at the scene.

Yeah, I just went by there today, and seen the crashed gates. Maybe they were being chased and didnt know the gates were closed, or that they couldnt just crash through them, like the movies!

So how is this gate crashing connected to the murder, or is it a separate incident?

Thats possible indeed but this incident happened on saturday and not sunday. Also there isnt any news about a car which crashed into a gate in that story. They were just arrested in their house...

Well, when I seen all the vehicles below the dam, it was Sunday, but maybe they were just cleaning up from Saturday. But how the gate was crashed, I cant figure that out.
