motorbike inner tubes lose air

Featured Replies

Papa have you tried the original tubes for the bike from Suzuki (OEM)? I had the same problem on my Yamaha. Switching back to the original Dunlop helped.

I dunno BSJ.

Doesn't retaining the tubes defeat the advantage on slow leakage with tubeless/alloy?

Seems like there would be no seal where the tube stem penetrates the rim, and thus leakage.

You got me scratching my head on that one for sure.

I didn't change to tubeless tyres. Kept the tyres and tubes as the Fino is only our spare bike and I didn't want to waste money on tyres when the tires were only put on 6 months ago.

Now I have seen the Yamaha Smax I am waiting to see if it comes here at a sensible price, if so I will sell the Fino. The PCX150 will become the spare and Smax will be our main ride.

Try checking the tube valve stem for a slow leak. Tighten the valve and leaks/blowouts are reduced. Worked for me.
