We have a lot of these spiders hanging in the mangotrees and their name is Fred! :D But I would like to know the officiale name. Any spiderlovers on the forum? :o

Fred is an Orb Weaver spider I think. Do a seacrh on this forum and there are a few threads on this same type of spider. If you do want that type identified you can post your pic of it at a certain website and they will identify it for you, but I can't remember the name of the website offhand. Its in one of the threads though. :o

Check out the webs, there is often a very small spider on the edge of it, that's the male, the big one is momma spider, so maybe Fredricka is more appropriate. :D

I seen (and walked through by accident) the webs of this spider in the forrests on Phuket on more than one occasion :o !!
