Child passport

Featured Replies

Hello. My daughter is 15 months old and was born in Thailand. I am British. I was hoping to take my wife and daughter on holiday next year and was wondering how difficult it would be to get my daughter a uk passport. I have been on to the British embassy Bangkok website and it looks quite a busy procedure. Any idea of what forms i need to download and complete. Would appreciate any advice greatly. Thanks.

Go through the steps starting here and you will get info you need. https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports

Sorry to be a pain but just one more question. It asks on the forms for my permanent residence. I spend 6 months in Thailand and 6 months in the uk a year. Would it be ok to put in any one of these or would i be better keeping to my uk address and putting an additional note into the application in section 8. My wife and daughter stay in Thailand all the time. Thanks.
