90 day reporting away from home?

Featured Replies

I'm due to do my 90-day reporting in early January, but I'm planning a trip to Chiang Mai for around the same time. Will I be able to do my 90-day reporting in Chiang Mai if I live in Bangkok?

You could do your 90 day reporting by mail to BKK-immigration.

see: http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/base.php?page=90days

CM will probably accept it, provided you can show proof that you are staying in CM.

Thanks very much for that link to the immigration webpage for the 90 day reporting. I discovered from that site that I can file my report 15 days BEFORE the due date (I always thought it was 7 days before and after the due date). As I am due to report on the 6th of January, I'm already within the 15 days before the due date. As such, I can just do my report tomorrow, before I go to Chiang Mai. Now for the next question: I see that there will be those new places to report - starting on 02 January. But if I want to report tomorrow (27 December) - and get a re-entry permit while I'm there, where can I go? Thanks.

You need to go to CW since you also want a re-entry permit.

The new locations for 90 day reporting are optional locations you can still do them at CW.
