30 day visa exempt stamp from land boarder?

Recommended Posts

I can't seem to find anything on this. Several people from the UK and Europe are now reporting they were able to obtain 30 day visa exempt stamps from Ranong. For several years now they have only given 15 days. Has there been a change back to the old policy?

I have Swiss passport and I got 15 days only ad Sadao border crossing. Entered on 15th december. Now I am in Laos, visa-free entry for 15 days to Laos.

Since the 1st of November those from the G7 countries get 30 day entries. See this topic: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?/topic/679721-Good-news-for-holders-of-UK,-USA,-Japan,-Germany,-France,-Canada-and-Italy

"I have Swiss passport and I got 15 days only..."

Possibly because Switzerland is not a G7 country.
