Free call to landlines in the U.S. -- that's pretty cheap.

There's nothing cheaper!

Yes there is cheaper in term of mobility without using computers but need broadband connection with normal table phone. US$28 monthly making unlimited calls to landlines & cell/mobile to all 50 states of U.S., Canada, Hong Kong. Unlimited calls to landlines of U.K, Ireland & Scotland.

Since unlimited calls, more you call cheaper you pays. Systems can share by 2 parties thus paying half the price. :o

Confused about the within US part of the free Skype offer.

Can you call from your PC in Thailand to a land line in the US FREE, or is that only PC in the US to land line in the US?

I think your IP has to be coming from the US or Canada, and the number you call has to be within the two countries.

Well I guess it solves one problem.

When I tried to pay SKYPE money for calls, they would not accept my credit card.

If it is free that problem goes away................ :o

I use Net2Phone, who will accept my money, and uses half the bandwidth.
