Just found a least 3 of these babies popping their heads out from under a garden wall near the house for NewYear and then stumbling over a garden step in the sunshine

Seem relatively tame.

Any tips on best course of action?

Happy to share homes but Would prefer they didn't chew my garden light cables which are not far away

Buy a "live trap', bait it, trap them and release them in an area where they won't be bothersome.
