the question might be clearer in 24h format, i.e. do you mean 12:00 and 20:00 or 00:00 and 08:00, 00:00 and 20:00...

She finishes work @ 2400 and is tarts next shift @ 0800. So only 8 hours between. She works @ Uni Qlo. a clothing chain.

Cheers

She's regularly asked to do this or is she rostered to do this?

16 hour days, whilst not illegal does require consent.

There's also nothing illegal about 8 hour minimums, Australia up until recently in some industries was 8 and is now 10, again, with consent this can be waived by mutual agreement.

I can't find specifics to it (minimum rest between shifts) in the Labour Protection Act but there are mentions of overtime rates and maximum daily hours (12)

Again, consent needs to be mutual and can't be forced.

Is your girlfriend getting OT for this?

What does Australia have to do with working hours in Thailand ?

Sweet Fanny Adams, mentioned it by means of a comparison...

So comparing apples to elephant shit then.... I bow down to your wisdom.

Pull your head in, that one paragraph that mentioned Australia was the only thing that was related to Australia. The rest, as I said, was regarding Thai Labour and relating to the Labour Protection Act.

Apologies that I didn't spoon feed it to you, thought, being a hansum man such as yourself would be capable of putting the 2 together.
