stamping out / stamping in

Featured Replies

I've been coming and stay in thailand for years on a Non O visa. Every 90 days I head to Nong Khai to cross over to LAO, get my Lao visa, stamp out then turn around and head back over to Nong Khai. The trip ussually takes about an hour sometime half that. Well, the thought came to me, why can't I just stamp out in Nong Khai, and then get in the entry line and stamp back in and avoid going over the bridge to Lao. Do any of you know if this possible, It sure would save some bucks and a bit of time.

It is not possible. They check that you have stamps for entry to Laos.

Brilliant idea !

Unfortunately it will not work !

You must have the Laos entry/exit stamps before you will be allowed back into Thailandsmile.png
