virtualtraveller
Hi Got a Non-Imm B visa from a job offer that fell through, now been offered a new job in a BOI company. Question is, do I need to leave the country and get a Non-Imm IB visa, or will the one stop service accept a standard Non-Imm B (expires in 2 months)? Can't get a straight answer anywhere but need to know before travelling all the way into Bangkok. Thanks
ubonjoe
A regular non-b will accepted. The IB is for investors that go through the BOI for their visa.
digitalchromakey
Should be ok along with all the other supporting paperwork from your new employer. It's a valid Non 'B' 90 day entry in your passport that is required for WP issue, that fact that the 'B' visa was issued on the request/papers of another company is irrelevant as your 'B' entry remains valid despite your no longer pursuing employment with that orginal company.
