yourauntbob
Everyone is talking about the "shutdown." How do you shutdown a city? What exactly is going to happen next week? In all honesty, I hear people talking about this but I dont hear any specifics. Is this going to be the same as a "crackdown" in which everyone goes along for a day and then its back to business as usual?
wym
Just traffic problems, don't make important business appointments across town.

namdocmai
The protestors will block the main roads so better stay away from BKK at all if you can. Traffic will be a nightmare. No traffic means not much food availlable so be prepared. Hopefully the trains and metro's can still operate if not then it will be a drama. Some weeks ago the skytrain was without electric power and it was chaos as well. If was a tourist i would fly directly to Phuket or Bali.
