Don Mueang air show for Children's Day

Featured Replies

I have heard there is an air show at Don Mueang airport for Children's Day today (January 10). I would love to take my son to see it, but I want to be sure it will still be held before driving all the way there. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, where exactly is it recommended to park and view the show? At the airport directly or somewhere nearby?

Finally, what time is it expected to start? I have Googled around and have not been successful at finding any info.

Thanks in advance.

I've gone to view this show in years past, and normally, everyone just parks on the elevated tollway, and watches from there opposite the airport, having tailgate parties, etc... The police normally close down two lanes, BUT, this year, with all impending shutdown, who knows how bad the traffic, police etc., will be and whether they will allow that?

That's very helpful. Thanks.

Do you know what time it usually starts?

Don't remember the time it starts, but the last year I saw it, it was a fantastic show because they had the US Navy Blue Angels here for a special joint show with the RTAF.

Cool! Guess we won't be so lucky this year but the kid would still enjoy just the same.
