I've just pressed something, not sure what. Windows XP User Accounts.

My account is "Administrator" and there's a second account on this PC. Now for some reason my account won't show, the files are still there, but can't get my settings back.

I've opened >control panel >user accounts and it only displays for the minor account but not mine (Adminstrator) I go to "Create new account" type "administrator", can't becuase that account already exists, but won't show it. Am I screwed?

Take a look in the local users and groups which offers a more advanced view than User Accounts under Control Panel.

Start-run-lusrmgr.msc

You can also get to it by right clicking My Computer and selecing 'manage'
